TRAVEL BY TRAIN TO MEMPHIS

Located just 1.5 miles from Renasant Convention Center and Cannon Center for the Performing Arts, Memphis' Central Station greets passengers arriving by rail. The station, more than a century old, now serves as both the city's rail station and as a boutique hotel with dining, a bar and live entertainment on-site amid Memphis' historic South Main Arts District.

Take a Public Bus or Vintage Trolley Around Memphis

Memphis Area Transit Authority (MATA) provides transportation throughout the city via buses and, along three popular routes downtown, vintage trolley service. In fact, the Main Street and Riverfront trolley lines stop at the Renasant Convention Center and Cannon Center for the Performing Arts. Rides on the vintage trolleys are just $1 each way and provide a scenic overview of downtown Memphis while getting you where you need to go.

From the West:

From Arkansas on I-40 East: Cross the Hernando Desoto Bridge in the right lane and take Exit 1A into downtown Memphis.  At the intersection turn left onto Front Street. The entrance to the parking garage is on the right. 

From Arkansas on I-55: Cross the Memphis-Arkansas Bridge and continue straight onto E.E.H. Crump Boulevard. Then exit onto Riverside Drive and continue north for 1.2 miles.  At the second traffic light, turn right onto Beale Street then left onto Front Street.  Follow Front Street north for 0.8 mile to the RCC/Cannon Center. The parking garage entrance is on the right on the north end of the RCC. 

From the East:

From Nashville: Follow I-40 West to downtown Memphis.  Take exit 1A onto 2nd Street. At the second traffic light take a right onto Poplar Ave. Follow Poplar Avenue west and at the second traffic light make a right turn onto Front Street. The entrance to the parking garage is on the right on the north end of the RCC. 

From the North:

From Millington: Proceed down Highway 51 South to Memphis. Take a right onto Poplar Avenue. At the 4th traffic light turn right onto Front Street. The entrance to the parking garage is on the right on the north end of the RCC. 

From the South:

From Highway 78: Heading northwest on US-78 use the right lane to merge onto I-240 W via the ramp to St. Louis. Then take I-69 and follow the signs for I-240 N/Little Rock.  Take Exit 30 on to Union Avenue and head west.  Follow Union Avenue for 1 mile then make a right turn onto Front Street. Follow Front Street north for 0.6 mile to the RCC/Cannon Center. The parking garage entrance is on the right on the north end of the RCC. 

From Jackson Mississippi: On I-55 North after crossing into Tennessee keep right to continue to I-69 and follow the signs for I-240 N/Little Rock.  Take Exit 30 on to Union Avenue and head west.  Follow Union Avenue for 1 mile then make a right turn onto Front Street. Follow Front Street north for 0.6 mile to the RCC/Cannon Center. The parking garage entrance is on the right on the north end of the RCC.
